Secretariat
We are proud to introduce the members of the HUSMUN'25 Secretariat. These dedicated individuals bring exceptional commitment, vision, and organizational skill, forming the backbone of this year’s conference. Their efforts ensure that the event runs smoothly and exemplify the spirit of collaboration and excellence at the heart of our MUN.
Core Secretariat

Secretary General
Niveditha Venkatesalu
As the Secretary-General of the conference, Niveditha carries the responsibility of overseeing all administrative and procedural operations of the conference and providing her Secretariat with strategic direction. With extensive experience participating in and chairing numerous Model United Nations conferences, Niveditha brings a nuanced understanding of diplomacy, negotiation, and structured debate. Her passion for reading, public speaking, and writing has honed her analytical thinking and communication, enabling her to guide delegates with clarity and insight. Moreover, Niveditha is recognized for her composure under pressure, logistical foresight, and ability to foster teamwork.
At HUSMUN III, Niveditha is committed to upholding the integrity of the conference, championing constructive diplomacy, and cultivating a space where collaboration, growth, and meaningful discourse thrive. Her leadership reflects the belief that global challenges demand not only discourse, but direction, resilience, and resolve.

Director General
Mischa Thomas
As the self-appointed No.1 fan of waffles and anything radioactive, Mischa brings a plethora of ideas to the table and is passionate about creating a dynamic and interactive environment for everyone. Besides her love for arsenic, she enjoys expressing herself in any way she can, be it debating, writing articles or doodling on the back of her speech. Her experience being the delegate of Iran for nuclear proliferation, the mother of 2 cats and an active participant in various MUN circuits all serve her well as the Director General of HUSMUN. Mischa is dedicated to fostering a welcoming space where expression is celebrated, connections are fostered and debates are fruitful. You might run into her snacking, enjoying a debate or roaming the halls. Feel free to say hi, strike up a conversation or even offer a waffle ( though any other snack is always welcome too). And just a small note- Original Coke will always beat Coke Zero in her book.

Deputy Secretary General
Nanditha Kumar
As Deputy Secretary-General, Nanditha coordinates with committee chairs, directors, and organizing teams to ensure smooth operations, while communicating with delegates and staff to maintain clarity of expectations and professionalism. She also helps make sure the conference remains fun and full of learning moments. Nanditha's MUN experience not only demonstrates her dedication to diplomacy, but also her impressive ability to balance committees and snack breaks without dropping either. She is thrilled to see HUSMUN’25 become a vibrant and engaging conference, where delegates grow in confidence, debates are lively, and the spirit of diplomacy truly shines.

Head of USGs
Clifford Edwin
Being the epitome of procrastination with a crippling addiction to coke zero is a diabolical combination for the USG of Committees. Despite his procrastination he somehow slithers by on exams with all mediocre colors. The only thing greater than Clifford's love for coke zero is his passion for debate. He is thrilled to see this MUN become a home for many delegates as well as an environment for formal ragebaiting. Also if you meet Clifford, please do not reference any big red dog because he has already heard that joke a hundred times over.
Under Secretary Generals

USG of Logistics
Syprian Arulraj
As USG Logistics, Syprian tries to make sure the entire MUN doesn’t fall apart, from missing placards to misplaced snacks. With years of leadership, club chaos, and event planning under his belt, he's mastered the art of solving problems before anyone even knows they exist. When Syprian's not organizing, you’ll find him watching movies, running volunteer projects, or pretending his google calender is a form of self-care. His mission? To make this MUN run so smoothly you’ll wonder if teleportation was involved.

USG of Information Technology
Smruthi Bala
Smruthi is an active participant in Model United Nations and currently serves as USG of IT and Technology, managing digital operations of HUSMUN III. She has gained delegate experience in various committees, contributing to discussions and resolution drafting. Alongside MUN, she has been involved in music and school productions, performing in ensembles and theatre, which has helped develop discipline, teamwork, and coordination.
Known for a practical approach and reliability, Smruthi focuses on completing tasks efficiently while supporting collaboration among peers. Interests include technology, creative projects, and initiatives that combine planning with problem-solving. Her experiences across MUN, music, theatre, and leadership roles contribute to a balanced skill set that blends technical, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.

USG of Public Relations
Fahmitha Fatima
A passionate and detail-oriented designer who brings creativity and impact to every project she takes on. With experience in social media management, promotional design, and content creation, she developed a strong eye for visual storytelling and effective communication. Having completed 2 design internships and contributed to school yearbook design, she continues to explore new ways to merge her passion for design with impact and purpose. Beyond design, she has participated in four MUN conferences, where she discovered the importance of collaboration, clear communication and expression. As the USG of PR, she hopes to bring her passion for aesthetics and storytelling to amplify the spirit of this HUSMUN, ensuring every post, poster, and campaign reflects creativity, connectivity and professionalism.

USG of Security and Discipline
Simin Mistry
Simin has participated consistently in various MUNs and has gotten the chance to experience the wrath of debate; now she stands to help this HUSMUN with organising an unforgettable conference. Outside of MUN, she is passionate about karate (6 years - black belt!), criminology, and theatre. Of course, she promises those skills will be unnecessary during the conference… most likely. As USG of Security and Discipline, she aims to maintain a respectful environment where all delegates feel comfortable approaching her while being able to contribute and collaborate in the committee. Her goal is to support a constructive setting that encourages the flow of this year’s conference.

USG of Delegate Affairs
Neethi Malla
As the USG of Delegate Affairs, Neethi strive to manage all delegate-related matters, ensuring smooth communication, accurate delegate allocations and making sure that delegates are well-informed and supported. This role provides her with an opportunity to deliver a professional, organised, and enriching conference experience. Through experiencing the conference from a delegate's perspective, she gained a deeper understanding of the importance of clear communication and efficiency, and hopes to foster this through her role in the organising team. She has also learned how chaotic things can get during the conference, and as someone who tends to get annoyed easily, she takes it as her personal mission to make sure everything runs so smoothly that neither she nor the delegates has a reason to lose their cool. Other than MUN, she takes part in various extracurriculars, including art, dance and fitness, developing balanced skills, discipline, responsibility and attention to detail. She has also helped organise events in school, such as a recycling competition, stationery drives, contributed to Fall Fest and been part of the student council, so she hopes to reflect her leadership experience and her various skills through this MUN.

USG of Press and Media
Atira Harimohan
Meet Atira, your USG of Press and Media — gold-medalist sprinter, swimmer, and proud McDonald’s and music enthusiast. With over ten years of competitive experience, she’s built unmatched discipline, perseverance and leadership. Beyond sports, she has organized and volunteered at events such as a 24-hour hackathon, clothing and stationery drives, and environmental campaigns. When she’s not on the field or organizing something, you’ll probably find her daydreaming about her next McFlurry and Charles Leclerc, while having her headphones in playing Drake and Daniel Caesar. Having participated in several MUNs, Atira knows her way around debates, diplomacy, and a good comeback. She’s passionate about helping delegates find their confidence, speak up, and maybe even laugh a little along the way. See you at the conference!

USG of Finance and Sponsorships
Tavishi Manrai
Tavishi is a master of working under pressure—lazy by nature, productive by instinct. Since 2021, she’s been immersed in debate and MUN, loving the research, strategizing arguments, and learning something new at every turn. She’s excited to take on USG Finance and Sponsorships, bringing her curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a knack for keeping things organised (most of the time) to the role. As USG of Finance and Sponsorships, Tavishi’s bringing her quick thinking, and ability to make things happen — even if it means a few caffeine-fueled nights. She loves solving problems, finding creative ways to make things work, and making spreadsheets her personality for short bursts of time. When she’s not juggling MUN tasks, Tavishi is probably rewatching Friends or The Big Bang Theory for the 100th time (“it’s called comfort, not obsession”), scrolling through restaurant menus she’ll “totally visit someday”, or talking about sports she loves, even if she’s juggling updates from multiple sports at once. She might look calm, but there’s probably a spreadsheet open somewhere in the background. Whether it’s finding sponsors or finding motivation, Tavishi always figures it out—eventually

Akash Kumar
Akash Kumar will be serving as the Chairperson for the IPP Committee at HUSMUN 2025. He currently works at Ford GTBC as an ADAS Simulation Engineer. Like many engineering students, he spent most of his college days roaming around campus with a camera in hand. Photography has always been his escape. Though he tried countless times to set it aside and focus solely on academics, it was something that never truly left him. Every time he sees a sunset, sunlight filtering through tree branches, or birds flying in graceful patterns across a cloud-streaked sky, he instinctively reaches for his camera. That’s when he realized that photography had become an inseparable part of who he is. During college, he covered numerous events and captured candid moments. He noticed that every person in the crowd carried a unique emotion—and he had the privilege of preserving it. To him, that felt like something truly special. If he were to describe photography in Netflix terms, he’d say it’s a blend of all his favorite sitcoms combined.
He is incredibly excited to meet the delegates and sincerely hopes that they gain something valuable from this conference. He believes life can often feel fast and uncertain, so it’s important to hold on tightly to good memories. Take lots of photos, make every moment count… and if you’re using an iPhone—well, he feels just a little sorry for you. Thank you, and see you very soon!
Vice Chairs
Meet our vice chairs, the dedicated individuals who play a crucial role in facilitating discussions and guiding delegates throughout the conference. United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime
Rinee Roy
Despite promising that she wouldn’t do any more MUNs until after the school year, Rinee just couldn’t stay away from her favourite committee for long. With high hopes and steady expectations for her committee and the scope for this agenda, she’s looking forward to some exceptionally intricate debate. In her free time, you’ll find her tweaking out about board exams (because she isn’t technically supposed to be involved in any extracurricular activity at the moment.)

United Nations Security Council
Aditi Vijaykumar
Aditi Vijaykumar is a seasoned MUNer who has participated in over 30 Model United Nations conferences, having consistently securing awards at nearly every one. She also shares a passion for music and drawing and is an accomplished debater on various national platforms. Known for her calm presence in the lobby and her soft spot for intense policy and legal debate, she expects delegates to maintain a high standard of discussion, stay in-character and, most importantly, engage constructively with one another.

United Nations Human Rights Council
Abishek
Abishek, a 17-year-old who has rapidly established himself as a formidable presence in the MUN circuit, has already secured as many Best Delegate awards as he has fingers on one hand. HUSMUN’24 marked his first conference under Sowmi, and now—just a year later—he returns as a chair alongside him. Having served in countless committees as both a delegate and an Executive Board member, Abishek has built a reputation for his sharp lobbying skills and command of legal nuances. Ever-evolving and unafraid to experiment, he now brings that same dynamic energy to HUSMUN’25. Just don’t be surprised if he casually asks you to yield your time mid-conversation.

United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime
Sanjana SK
S.K. Sanjana, guided by the motto “it is what it is,” is a passionate and versatile delegate with over 20 MUNs to her credit, having chaired some of the most diverse committees and handled the behind-the-scenes chaos of secretariat work with equally tiring commitment. A relatively new name to the circuit, she is undoubtedly a promising one. Outside MUNs, Sanjana is a national-level skating medalist and a prolific literary voice, published over 40 times and currently contributing as a writer, editor, and reviewer across 18+ international online magazines. She navigates the whirlwind of Grade 11 with chaotic curiosity (barely surviving), often found reading unhinged articles or falling asleep halfway through films. She looks forward to another memorable committee and, hopefully, staying awake for all of it.

Trayee Sriramadhesigan
Meet Trayee Sriramadhesigan, with 15+ MUNs and a line-up of awards to her name, she brings to the table a balance of creativity, calmness and a little bit of chaos to tie everything together. Her drive towards achieving the impossible and striving for excellence encapsulates her personality and never ceases to impress everyone around her. Known for her infectious energy and ability to keep the room alive, Trayee is someone you can count on to bring both order and good vibes to the table. If she's not found sleeping, she's probably listening to songs, or convincing why thayir sadam is the best.

Diploma Program Year 1 Student
Deepthi Prabu
Attending HUSMUN last year as part of the International Press Corps (IPC), representing Xinhua News Agency, was a genuinely eye-opening experience. Reporting on modern-day human trafficking in the committee helped develop strong observation and communication skills. Being the journalist meant listening closely to debates, taking careful notes, and writing unbiased reports about what happened.
A big lesson was realizing how journalists can influence how people view global problems like human trafficking, and how important it is to share accurate information. Seeing delegates from different countries try to solve tough issues showed the value of teamwork and finding common ground. Doing live reporting pushed me to think quickly and adapt to fast-changing situations.
Meeting other students and learning about their views broadened my perspective on international topics. Overall, HUSMUN made me more interested in journalism and global affairs, and gave me confidence to share facts respectfully, even under pressure.
Chinna Sai
Diploma Program Year 1 Student
Attending HUSMUN last year was a great experience. Right from the start, I was surrounded in an environment where critical thinking, cooperation, and compassion were the three main virtues. One of the most valuable lessons for life that I drew from this conference was the necessity for active listening and understanding viewpoints for and against mine. In either case, whether drafting treaties or arguing, I found out that the foundation of good diplomacy is in finding common ground and building agreements.
HUSMUN has also corroborated the need of being fully prepared, being able to rise above difficulties and being flexible at any given situation. The drafting of resolutions under strict deadlines and facing unforeseen circumstances are some of the ways I learned to stay calm and to be innovative while thinking under pressure.
The gains from HUSMUN participation were various. In general, I am not a very good public speaker, but HUSMUN encouraged me and helped my public speaking and researching capabilities improve. I became more aware of the world issues and I also gained more confidence in presenting my ideas in a well-organized and persuasive manner. The conference was more than just a skill enhancing activity, it was also an amazing chance to meet with equally enthusiastic peers from different backgrounds.
HUSMUN was not only a conference but a wide open door to walk through in the arena of leadership, teaming up with others, and being a global citizen. It is a great opportunity, where no one should miss it!
Middle Year Program 5 Student
Ahimsa Santhosh
Participating in last year’s edition of HUSMUN was an incredible experience. As a delegate, I gained not just knowledge about diplomacy and policy-making, but also valuable life skills like confidence, communication, and teamwork.
The conference taught me to appreciate different perspectives, collaborate respectfully, and think critically under pressure. Beyond the debates, I made lasting friendships and connected with peers who share a passion for learning and global issues.
What began as a school activity quickly became a journey that shaped how I approach challenges and express my ideas. I’m grateful for the lessons, experiences, and inspiration I carried away from the conference.
